A Comunidade Vinícola de Livermore Valley anuncia a formação da The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance (AVA)

Os membros fundadores incluem nove regiões vinícolas, dentre elas o Vale dos Vinhedos.

A Comunidade Vinícola de Livermore Valley (LVWC) e o Supervisor do Distrito 1 do Condado de Alameda, David Haubert, têm o orgulho de anunciar a formação da The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance (AVA). A Global AVA foi fundada com o objetivo de criar uma aliança benéfica e sustentável entre regiões vinícolas do mundo. As regiões vinícolas fundadoras incluem o Livermore Valley Wine Community, California; Texas Hill Country Wineries, Texas; Chilecito, Argentina; Dalmatia, Croatia; Chinon, France; Alentejo, Portugal; Vale dos Vinhedos, Brasil; Badacsony, Hungary and Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. 

"Em nome de toda a comunidade vinícola de Livermore Valley, estamos orgulhosos de liderar os esforços para estabelecer a The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance", disse Brandi Lombardi, diretora executiva da Livermore Valley Wine Community. "Como uma das regiões vinícolas mais antigas da Califórnia, Livermore Valley tem uma rica história de tradição vinícola aliada a novos vinicultores e novas técnicas. Esta aliança permitirá que todas as regiões parceiras trabalhem juntas e expandam as oportunidades para seus vinicultores e vinícolas, além de aumentar o turismo em suas respectivas partes do globo.”

O Global AVA promoverá a colaboração e a troca de informações entre produtores de vinho, associações vinícolas, representantes do governo, organizações de turismo e desenvolvimento econômico e associações empresariais. Os representantes das regiões vinícolas parceiras participarão ativamente de oportunidades de desenvolvimento profissional por meio de discussões sobre técnicas de vinificação e métodos de sustentabilidade, intercâmbios de estudantes e estagiários profissionais e compartilhamento de melhores práticas em torno de desenvolvimento econômico, agroturismo e iniciativas de marketing para elevar a presença global da região vinícola participante, entre outras oportunidades.

"Eu imaginei a criação de uma rede de parceiros globais da região vinícola e estou emocionado em ver isso ganhar vida por meio do trabalho árduo de minha equipe e da Associação de Viticultores de Livermore Valley", disse David Haubert. "Esta aliança trará grande valor e inovação, e estou animado por fazer parte deste grupo pioneiro de líderes do setor."

The Livermore Valley Wine Community Announces the Formation of The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance

Founding Members include Nine Distinguished Wine Regions from Across the Globe

Livermore, CA, February 26, 2025 – The Livermore Valley Wine Community (LVWC) and Alameda County, District 1 Supervisor, David Haubert are proud to announce the formation of The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance (AVA). The Global AVA was established to create a beneficial and sustainable alliance of partner wine regions across the globe. The founding wine regions include the Livermore Valley Wine Community, California; Texas Hill Country Wineries, Texas; Chilecito, Argentina; Dalmatia, Croatia; Chinon, France; Alentejo, Portugal; Vale dos Vinhedos, Brazil; Badacsony, Hungary and Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. 

“On behalf of the entire Livermore Valley Wine Community, we are proud to lead the efforts to establish The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance,” said Brandi Lombardi, Executive Director for the Livermore Valley Wine Community. “As one of the oldest wine regions in California, Livermore Valley has a rich history of winemaking tradition side by side with new winemakers and new techniques. This alliance will allow all partner regions to work together and expand opportunities for their winemakers and wineries as well as enhance tourism to their respective parts of the globe.”

The Global AVA will promote collaboration and exchange of information between winemakers, wine associations, government representatives, tourism and economic development organizations, and business associations. Representatives of the partner wine regions will actively participate in professional development opportunities through discussions about winemaking techniques and sustainability methods, student and professional intern exchanges, and sharing of best practices around economic development, agri-tourism and marketing initiatives to elevate the global presence of the participating wine region, among other opportunities. 

“I envisioned creating a network of global wine region partners, and I’m thrilled to see this come to life through the hard work of my team and the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association,” said David Haubert, Alameda County, District 1 Supervisor. “This Alliance will bring great value and innovation, and I’m excited to be part of this trailblazing group of industry leaders.”
